    Ja, i sorummet har vi ”Carpe Diem” på en fondvägg med moln. Inte så originell text kanske, men det känns verkligen ”jag”. Jag är ganska bra på att fånga dagen på bästa sätt 😉

  2. Älskar vackra ordspråk och citat. Har flera hemma på olika sätt men det jag vekrligen försöker leva efter är ”mono no aware”. Körsbärsträd har stor betydelse i den Japanska kulturen och när körsbärsträden blommar i Japan firas det högtidligt varje år. För Japanerna symboliserar körsbärsblomman bland annat livets kortvariga skönhet eftersom de otroligt vackra blommorna har en så kort blomningstid. De har länge symboliserat dödlighet, förgänglighet och skörhet samt förknippats med begreppet ”Mono no aware” som betyder ungefär att alla ting är kortvariga och man ska vara rädd om allt så länge det varar. Skulle vi uppskatta livet om det varade för evigt, skulle vi älska våra nära och kära på samma sätt om de aldrig togs ifrån oss? Det vackra i livet ligger således i att det faktiskt inte varar för evigt. En vissnande blomma besitter därför större skönhet än en i full blom.

    Och det är så jag, till och med så mkt att jag funderar på att tatuera in det på kroppen. Blev så tydligt när jag fick min hjärnskada (hjärninfarkt) mitt i livet. Man vet aldrig vad som händer, det ska man aldrig glömma!

  17. Jag skulle gärna vilja ha den som du har (”Happiness…”) , den känns så tänkvärd. Vi har en bokstavsbanner som man kan skriva vad man vill med, men annars inget. Jag har en tatuering på foten som jag gjorde för många år sedan, den är på latin då jag läste det språket i flera år på gymnasiet och detta ordspråk fastnade då i mitt huvud:
    Per aspera ad astra. Skulle jag ha ett väggord ville jag nog ha det men nu har jag ju med det jämt istället:-)
